第226章 Lucy之湖（二）

　　許信成很是驚訝，他當(dāng)然知道“Lake Lucy”是什么意思，但他還是好奇地問(wèn)道：“Lucy lake? You mean……”（“Lucy之湖？你是說(shuō)……”）

　　“Yes， I named it after Lucy. I bought this lake 3 years ago， and as the owner， I got the right to give it a new name， and as one of the most beautiful lakes in this world， I think I should name it after one of the most beautiful girls I had known in my life， and Lucy is the first and only name I came up with.”（“是的，我以Lucy的名字來(lái)命名它。我是在3年前買(mǎi)下這個(gè)湖的，作為它的擁有者，我有權(quán)力為它取一個(gè)新名字，作為這世界上最美麗的一個(gè)湖，我想我應(yīng)該以這世界上我所認(rèn)識(shí)的最美麗的女孩子的名字來(lái)命名它，而Lucy就是我第一個(gè)想到的也是唯一想到的名字。”）

　　許信成驚詫地看著Anderson王子，只見(jiàn)他的臉上洋溢著一種開(kāi)心和滿足的笑容。

　　“When I signed the purchase contract of this lake 3 years ago， my lawyer said I had the right to rename the lake， and put it on the contract， it just took me one second to decide that I would name it after Lucy. Just like that， it’s a no-brainer.”（“3年前，當(dāng)我在簽署購(gòu)買(mǎi)合同的時(shí)候，我的律師說(shuō)我有權(quán)力重新命名這個(gè)湖，然后把它的名字寫(xiě)到合同里，當(dāng)時(shí)我只用了一秒鐘便決定了我要以Lucy的名字來(lái)命名它。就那么簡(jiǎn)單，那是一件不用多想的事?！保?p>　　許信成回想起Anderson王子昨天下午在小溪邊第一次見(jiàn)到Lucy時(shí)，還有在陽(yáng)臺(tái)上見(jiàn)到Lucy時(shí)，還有在整個(gè)晚宴的過(guò)程中，當(dāng)他看著Lucy時(shí)，那溫情脈脈的眼神和表情，其實(shí)，他從一開(kāi)始就看出了Anderson王子對(duì)Lucy有著超越一般好朋友的情愫，只是沒(méi)想到他竟是如此癡情，竟把自己擁有的這個(gè)美麗的湖命名為L(zhǎng)ucy。

　　Anderson王子指了指前面不遠(yuǎn)處湖邊的幾塊大石頭，對(duì)許信成說(shuō)：“Steve， let’s take a break. There are some stones over there， let’s go sit down.”（“Steve，讓我們休息一會(huì)。那邊有一些大石頭，我們過(guò)去那里坐坐?！保?p>　　“Ok.”（“好?！保?p>　　兩人走到石頭邊，各自挑了一塊大石頭坐了下來(lái)。

　　Anderson王子緩緩地仰起頭，仰望了一下淺藍(lán)色的天空，望了望東邊的太陽(yáng)，然后低頭望著淺藍(lán)色的湖面，深深地吸了一口氣，緩緩?fù)職?，然后，像是?duì)許信成說(shuō)，又像是對(duì)自己說(shuō)：“How beautiful she is!”（“她是多么美啊！”）

　　許信成知道，Anderson王子所說(shuō)的“She”既是指眼前的被他命名為L(zhǎng)ake Lucy的湖，又指Lucy。

　　Anderson王子問(wèn)許信成：“Steve， how long have you known Lucy?”（“Steve，你認(rèn)識(shí)Lucy多久了？”）

　　“Not too long， only about 2 months.”（“不是很久，只有大概兩個(gè)月?！保?p>　　“I have known her for about 4 years. I still remember the first time I met her， I still remember all the details， I still remember all the moments. I met her in her company in New York， I went there as a potential client. And I madly fell in love with her at the very first sight at the very first moment.”（“我已經(jīng)認(rèn)識(shí)她約4年了。我至今仍記得第一次見(jiàn)到她時(shí)的情形，我至今仍記得所有的細(xì)節(jié)，我至今仍記得所有的時(shí)刻。我是在紐約在她的公司里見(jiàn)到她的，我是作為一位潛在客戶過(guò)去見(jiàn)她的。而我在見(jiàn)到她的第一眼在見(jiàn)到她的那一瞬間便已經(jīng)瘋狂地愛(ài)上了她。”）

　　Anderson王子在說(shuō)以上那段話時(shí)，他的臉上一直掛著一個(gè)有些癡迷的微笑，可是，話一說(shuō)完，他臉上的神色突然一變，癡迷的微笑立刻變成了惆悵的苦笑，他深深地嘆了一口氣，說(shuō)：“I tried to ask her out， not as a client， but as a friend. But she turned me down. She said she just wanted to keep our relationship a cooperative one. Of course， I would never give up， so I kept trying and trying for 2 years， I kept sending her flowers every day for 2 years， but still， her answer is the same. One day after 2 years， I flew to New York in my plane from here， just to give her the flowers I picked up myself from the shore of this lake. I wanted to try it for the last time with all my heart.”（“我試著約她出去，不是以客戶的身份，而是以一個(gè)朋友的身份。但她拒絕了我。她說(shuō)她只想和我保持合作伙伴關(guān)系。當(dāng)然了，我是不會(huì)放棄的，所以我一次又一次地嘗試，嘗試了兩年，兩年里，我堅(jiān)持每天送花給她，但是，她的答復(fù)依然一樣。兩年后的一天，我從這里乘坐我的私人飛機(jī)去紐約，只為了把我在這個(gè)湖的湖邊親自采摘的鮮花送給她。我想以我的全心全意再最后嘗試一次?！保?p>　　Anderson王子說(shuō)到這時(shí)，他臉上的神色從惆悵變成了悲傷，而后又迅速地變成了痛苦，他又深深地嘆了一口氣，說(shuō)：“But， her answer is still no. I said to her， she would have all I have; she would have this lake， the castle， my companies， all my investments， all my properties， and she wouldn’t have to work for a single day in her life. And I would love her forever， for her， I could give up everything; for her， I could just stay at home every day; for her， I could just quit everything and just to be with her every day， every moment. But her answer is still no. I asked her why， Lucy just said she is a celibatarian.”

　　（“但是，她的答案依然是不。我對(duì)她說(shuō)，她將可以擁有我擁有的一切，她將擁有這個(gè)湖，這座城堡，我的公司，我的所有投資，我的所有財(cái)產(chǎn)，她這輩子將不需要再工作一天。我會(huì)永遠(yuǎn)地愛(ài)著她，為了她，我可以放棄一切；為了她，我可以每天都待在家里；為了她，我甚至可以放棄一切，只求每天每一刻都和她在一起。但是，她的答案依然是不。我問(wèn)她為什么，Lucy只是說(shuō)她是一位獨(dú)身主義者?！保?p>　　Anderson王子停了停，大大地做了好幾個(gè)深呼吸，明顯是在努力地調(diào)整著自己的心緒，半響之后，他才接著說(shuō)：“I was so shocked. That was just unbelievable. Why would she want to be a celibatarian? So， I kept asking her why. She said she needs her own space and time， and she said， most importantly， she wouldn’t be happy if she left her career. She said， in this world， what really matters to her is her career， what really matters to her is what she is doing now.”

　?。ā拔腋械胶苷痼@。那令人太難以置信了。她為什么想成為一位獨(dú)身主義者。所以，我又追問(wèn)她為什么。她說(shuō)她需要有自己的空間和時(shí)間，她還說(shuō)，最重要的是，如果她離開(kāi)了她的事業(yè)，她是不會(huì)開(kāi)心的。她說(shuō)，在這世界上，對(duì)她來(lái)說(shuō)最重要的是她的事業(yè)，對(duì)她來(lái)說(shuō)最重要的是她正在做的事?！保?p>　　Anderson王子深情看著淺藍(lán)色的湖面，他的眼眶里泛起了晶瑩的淚光，說(shuō):“I have been trying to figure out why her career is so important to her， but after all this time， I still wouldn’t really figure out why.”（“我一直想弄明白為什么她的事業(yè)對(duì)她來(lái)說(shuō)是那么的重要，但是，過(guò)了這么久的時(shí)間，我依然還是沒(méi)有弄明白為什么?！保?p>　　許信成看著此刻悲傷萬(wàn)分的Anderson王子，他真地為他對(duì)Lucy的深情和真情所感動(dòng)，他甚至都開(kāi)始有點(diǎn)同情他，同情到有點(diǎn)想把他知道的答案告訴他，但許信成知道，他無(wú)論如何都不能告訴他，因?yàn)槟鞘撬麑?duì)Lucy作出的承諾，為了那個(gè)承諾，就算Anderson王子用整個(gè)城堡和莊園與他交換，他也不會(huì)違背他對(duì)Lucy的那個(gè)承諾。

　　Anderson王子站起身來(lái)，挺直腰身，緊握雙拳，又做了一個(gè)深呼吸，目光變得異常堅(jiān)毅，像是下定了某個(gè)決心似的，他堅(jiān)定地說(shuō)：“But I don’t care， I don’t need to know why， I don’t even need Lucy to love me back. As long as I love her， that’s enough for me; as long as I love her， I don’t even need to be with her; as long as she is happy， I am happy; and if her career is so important to her， then I will do everything I can to make her career become a bigger success. That is the way I chose to love her， that is the way I will keep doing in my life， that is the way I will keep loving her in my entire life.”（“但是，我不在乎，我不需要知道為什么，我甚至都不需要Lucy一樣地愛(ài)回我。只要我愛(ài)她，就已經(jīng)足夠了，只要我愛(ài)她，我甚至都不需要和她在一起；只要她開(kāi)心，我就開(kāi)心；如果她的事業(yè)對(duì)她來(lái)說(shuō)是如此的重要，那么，我將愿意做所有我能做的事去令到她的事業(yè)更成功。這就是我選擇愛(ài)她的方式，這就是我這輩子將一直堅(jiān)持的方式，這就是我這一生將一直愛(ài)她的方式?！保?p>　　許信成聽(tīng)到Anderson王子最后說(shuō)的那幾句話，他真地被他深深地感動(dòng)了，他心想：“Anderson王子剛剛說(shuō)的才是真愛(ài)，才是這世界上最偉大的真愛(ài)！”

　　許信成也站了起來(lái)，很是感慨地說(shuō)道：“Anderson， today， I have learned the most valuable thing from you; today， I have known what true love really means; today， I have become a true believer that there IS true love in this world.”（“Anderson，今天，我從你身上學(xué)到一件最寶貴的事；今天，我懂得什么是真愛(ài)；今天，我相信這個(gè)世界原來(lái)是真地有真愛(ài)的?！保?
