Translation:
On the Phoenix Terrace, the phoenixes used to roam,
But now they have left, leaving only the flowing river.
The palace of Wu is overgrown with flowers and grass,
The attire of the Jin Dynasty has become ancient mounds.
Half of the three mountains have fallen beyond the blue sky,
The two rivers divide the White Egret Island.
The floating clouds always obscure the sun,
Not seeing Chang'an makes people worry.
Note: The poem describes the Phoenix Terrace in Jinling (now Nanjing) and reflects on the changes that have occurred over time. The poet uses vivid imagery to convey a sense of loss and melancholy.
